SIPA Framework
The Signage, Interpretation and Public Art (SIPA) Framework is available to communities of the Grey District who wish to celebrate the region in partnership with Council.
Up to $5,200 is available annually as a matched funding proposal for creating vibrancy, telling positive stories, installing public art and communicating our unique and special West Coast identity. Together with the community, 20 locations have been identified in the Grey District that we would like to see celebrated. They are:
Ahaura, Barrytown, Blackball, Blaketown, Brunner Mine, Cobden, The Coast Road, Greymouth CBD, Grey River Waterfront, High Street, Karoro, Lake Brunner, Nelson Creek, Paroa, Point Elizabeth, Punakaiki, Rapahoe, Runanga, Taramakau/Camerons, Woods Creek Track
Please see the Guidelines below for more information. You can discuss your proposed project with us at any time - applications for funding are normally open during June/July each year.
Funding Rounds
Funding rounds are normally open during May to July each year. However, if you have a project outside of this time, please complete an application form and send it through to us for consideration.
