The team from Spray Mark have been out and about in our community completing the annual re-mark of existing road markings. You may have seen their big blue truck!
Spray Marks Roading has worked on the Grey District Council Network for many years since 2008, this involves an annual full re-mark of existing road markings on both rural and urban roads, as well as additional new markings.
They often work through the night to prevent disruption to road users, so it may seem like the fairies have been when you wake up to fresh white road markings but it actually the dedicated team from Spray Mark burning the midnight oil for our benefit. Thanks Guys!
Check out the below photos including the full re-mark of the Westland Recreation Centre car park and the new addition to the Greymouth CBD courtesy crossing, (a courtesy crossing its a raised crossing in the road that you aren't required to stop for, but allows for a safer place to stop if pedestrians do want to cross). This new addition will help to keep our pedestrians safe on this crossing while attended to business in town or popping across to pick up a coffee!
