Water Outage - Stillwater / Wallsend
UPDATE: 5:04pm 21 April 2022
Unfortunately contractors have been unable to gain access to the site to fix the issue causing the water outage.
This is due to the ongoing instability of the slip on State Highway 7, and safety concerns.
Council has arranged to have a water tanker stationed opposite the Stillwater Lumber Sawmill, next door to the Stillwater Pub in the layby section on State Highway 7.
There will be 30,000 litters available to residents, and if required more is available.
It is likely the water outage will remain until at least Friday morning.
Thank you to all residents for your understanding and patience.
UPDATE 2.40pm 21 April 2022
Please be aware, it is likely the water outage in Stillwater and Wallsend will continue until later this evening, due to the slip being worse than expected. Council will issue a further update when more information comes to hand.
