Blackball Water Supply Precautionary Boil Water Notice Has Been Lifted

Update 20/06/2022 - The Grey District Council advises all consumers on the Blackball Water Supply that the precautionary boil water notice that was issued on Tuesday 14 June has now been lifted from 12 Noon Monday 20 June 2022.

Council wishes to thank consumers for their co-operation through this period and apologises for any inconveniences.

PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

Commencing 14 June 2022 at 10am until further notice

The Grey District Council wishes to advise all consumers on the Blackball Water Supply that Council has issued a boil water notice as a precautionary measure. This is due to an operational issue with the ultraviolet disinfection treatment onsite. While this issue has been resolved partially treated water is within the network. All drinking water should be boiled until further notice.

Council will update residents via our website and Facebook pages as the situation develops.
