Large rocks have been placed on the trail at the North and South end of the section which crosses the Westroads gravel works in Blaketown.
Council has received reports of vehicles accessing the cycle trail and using the gravel road for racing and other shenanigans, which poses serious health and safety concerns for cyclists and pedestrians. The rocks will stop access and prevent the reported dangerous activity.
Anyone seeing any stupid behaviour on the trail that involves a vehicle that shouldn’t be there can call our customer Service Team on 03 769 8600 or drop us a Snap Send. Solve.
Let’s work together to keep our community safe.
