Conserve Water Notice - Greater Greymouth Water Supply

Update: effective from 10:30am 22/08/23 this Conserve Water Notice has been lifted.

Effective immediately and until further notice, a Conserve Water Notice has been put in place which effects all properties south of the Cobden Bridge.

As part of planned water shutdowns in Cobden this week, our contractor needs to turn off the main water supply network to Greymouth for a period of time. During this time Greymouth will continue to be supplied water via our reservoirs however, we ask residents to conserve water over this time to ensure adequate supply for everyone. This will also ensure an adequate supply to enable the reconnection of the main water supply once work has been completed.

Our contractor is working hard to get the needed repairs completed as quickly as possible and aims to cause as little disruption to residents as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we undertake this work.

We will update this post to let the community know when the conserve water notice has been lifted.
