Kids

There is LOTS of cool stuff to do at the Grey District Library. Come on in and use our free computers, take out some books, borrow a DVD, play some games or just hang out. You can also look for information you need for your homework or other projects.

If you need help with anything, just ask a librarian and they'll be happy to help you.

Any Questions

Any questions is an online service provided by public librarians throughout New Zealand. Kids and teenagers link up with the librarians via the internet and get real-time help to find information and to do homework or school work. How helpful would that be!

Free computers to use

The Grey District Library has Chrome Stations and Chromebooks that you can use free of charge.

eBooks especially for kids

Head over to the South Island Downloadable Zone to find heaps of good eBooks for kids. Start your search by logging in - you will need to select "Grey District Library" and then put in your library card and pin numbers. You can then choose "kids" (or "teens") from the Collections menu at the top.
