The Westland Recreation Centre has been designed to meet a range of community sporting, leisure and recreational needs. It is adjacent to the croquet, tennis and hockey grounds, as well as close to Greymouth High School basketball court, which makes it the ideal venue for hosting national tournaments of various sporting codes.

The Westland Recreation Centre will be closed on Christmas Day and the morning of Anzac Day. Closures may also apply on other public holidays. Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date with our happenings and events.
Main entrance doors
The main entrance doors for the Westland Recreation Centre will open at the gym opening time each day. Access to the pool facilities will be available from the pools opening time stated above.
Please note that the main entrance doors will be closed when the pool closes for the day. We recommend gym users enter the facility at least 15 minutes prior to this to ensure they can gain access.
