No
parking lines have been installed on Joyce Crescent to improve road safety in
the area. Isaac's responded quickly to our request and installed the lines
yesterday.
Safety
concerns have been continually raised with us about dodgy parking and driving
habits at the top end of Joyce Crescent. These have been particularly bad
during busy school pickup and drop-off times. The local school supports the
change as the parking concerns have been around for some time so they were keen
to see them resolved. Keeping everyone as safe as possible when arriving
and leaving school is high priority and the no parking zone will make the area
a much safer place for motorists and pedestrians.
The
GDC Parking Warden will be keeping an eye on the new no parking zone. To avoid
a fine, don't park on the yellow lines. If you see anyone parking on the yellow
lines, feel free to take a photo showing the number plate and report it to us
via Snap Send Solve or give our friendly customer service team call on 03 769
8600 and we'll follow up directly.
