GREATER GREYMOUTH WATER SUPPLY| PLANNED SHUTDOWN | 2 JULY 2024
Council advises all consumers on the Greater Greymouth Water Supply that the Greymouth Water Treatment Plant will be shutdown on Thursday 4 July from 11am until 2pm. This is to allow for additional works to connect the new bore to the Treatment Plant.
During this period, all consumers on the Greater Greymouth Water Supply will be feed water from treated storage reservoirs. Residents in elevated areas should expect low water pressure during the works.
This affects consumers in the Greymouth, Cobden, Blaketown, Boddytown, Karoro, South Beach, Paroa, Kaiata, Dobson, Taylorville, Stillwater, Runanga, Dunollie, Coal Creek & Rapahoe areas.
A conserve water notice is still in place, to assist with building treated water storage in the reservoirs and will be in place until further notice.
