A section of MacKay Street in Greymouth will be temporarily reduced to one lane this week to allow for the installation of a new sewer connection.
The work will get underway from 7am on Tuesday 17 September and is expected to be completed by Friday 20 September.
A one-way system and detours will be in place during this period, with Tuesday and Wednesday seeing the West side of MacKay Street being closed between Albert Street and Tainui Street, then on Thursday and Friday the East side of the road, including the footpath, being closed to allow for the completion of the works.
Please be mindful of staff working onsite and drive carefully when navigating through town.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this road closure.
