Please continue to conserve water until further notice.
We’ll keep you updated if the situation changes.

***Update: 05/02/25 - Runanga Water Supply***
Overnight, reservoir storage levels have dropped significantly, reaching just 30% as of 8am this morning. Our team is concerned that there may be a major leak (or multiple leaks) in the Runanga area.
Staff and contractors worked through the night searching for leaks and continue to investigate. A specialist leak detection crew from Christchurch will arrive early this afternoon to assist.
Water conservation is critical to help replenish reservoir levels. This applies to residents in Runanga, Rapahoe, Coal Creek, Dunollie & Rapahoe—please use water wisely.
How you can help: If you notice any leaks, report them immediately by calling us on 03 769 8600 or using the Snap Send Solve app. Repairs will be prioritised based on urgency.
Thank you for your cooperation!
