The major leaks have been repaired. However, the water levels are still low, so please continue to conserve water usage to allow the reservoir to build sufficiently

***UPDATE 7:51PM | RUNANGA WATER SUPPLY | 6 FEBRUARY 2025***
The team repaired the valve and continued to search for the main break. This has recently been located on the State Highway between Duncan Street and Ward Street. To allow for the repair there will be a further water shutdown this evening.
Water is expected to be restored by 10pm.

***UNPLANNED WATER SHUTDOWN | RUNANGA | 6 FEBRUARY 2025***
To allow for a valve replacement on the corner of Duncan Street/State Highway intersection, there is an unplanned water shutdown, in Runanga today, Thursday 6 February.
This affects properties on Duncan Street/State Highway intersection to the Ward Street/State Highway intersection. Both sides of the road will be affected.
Water will be off from 1pm and is expected to be restored by 5pm.
