UPDATE 16.45 | CONSERVE WATER NOTICE | 7 FEBRUARY 2025
CONSERVE WATER NOTICE
The Conserve Water Notice remains in place for the Greater Greymouth & Blackball Water Supplies.
RUNANGA WATER SUPPLY
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our staff and contractors. Three major leaks in Runanga have been successfully repaired. However, water levels remain low, so we kindly ask that you continue to conserve water to help the reservoir refill. Thank you for your cooperation!
☀️ Whilst the light drizzle this morning has been very welcome the 10 day outlook at this stage does not forecast much relief on the horizon. As a result, the Conserve Water Notice for consumers on the Greater Greymouth & Blackball Water Supplies remains in place.
💧We ask residents to minimise or limit lawn and garden watering to help manage demand.
🏡This notice applies to residents in: Greymouth, Cobden, Blaketown, Boddytown, Karoro, South Beach, Paroa, Kaiata, Dobson, Taylorville, Stillwater, Runanga, Dunollie, Coal Creek, Rapahoe & Blackball.
⏳ Residents are advised to conserve water until further notice.
Council will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates via our 🌐 website and 📢 Facebook pages.
📞 If you require further information, please contact Council on (03) 769 8600 at any time.
🙏 We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation.
