Update 24/02/25 - Good news, Blackball! The precautionary boil water notice has been lifted as of 3:00 PM today, 24 February.
BLACKBALL WATER SUPPLY | PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE
Commencing 18 February 2025 at 10am until further notice
Council has issued a boil water notice for all consumers in the Blackball Water Supply as a precautionary measure. This is due to the ultraviolet disinfection treatment system not working for 50 minutes while pumping was occurring.
The issue has been resolved, but partially treated water is now within the network. All drinking water should be boiled until further notice.
