BLACKBALL WATER SUPPLY

PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

Commencing 16 January 2022 at 9pm until further notice

UPDATE: As of Thursday 27 January from 4pm - Boil Water Notice Lifted

The Grey District Council wishes to advise all consumers on the Blackball Water Supply that Council has issued a boil water notice as a precautionary measure. This is due to a fault within the chlorine dosing system. The ultraviolet disinfection is operating as per normal. All drinking water should be boiled until further notice. A conserve water notice is now in place.

Council will update residents via our website and facebook pages as the situation develops.
