Planned Water Shutdown - Cobden 01/04/22

Update 01/04/22: - A slight delay to the start of works today, may result in the advised shutdowns being extended through until 4pm today. Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause our consumers.

There will be a planned water shutdown in Cobden tomorrow, Friday 1 April 2022. This is due to the connection of the new watermain, additional to the works notified yesterday.

Areas that will be affected are as below, along with shutdown times;

9am – 12 noon

Bright Street from Taylor Street to Blackett Street.

Sturge Street from Bright Street to base of hill near Ashmore Ave.

Ashmore Ave.

Fox Street from Newcastle Street to Blackett Street.

Blackett Street from Bright Street to Ward Street.

Ward Street from Newcastle Street to Clifford Street (excluding Cobden School).

1pm – 2pm

Richmond Street from Ballie Place to Wickes Street including barley Place.
