Tenders are invited for purchase of the concrete bridge deck panels removed during reconstruction of the William Stewart bridge.
Approximately 100 panels are available for purchase. Beam dimensions are 4.6 metres long, 2 metres wide, 60mm deep & weigh 3.7 tonne each.
Tenderers need to advise how and when the beams will be collected, the transportation of the beams, method of lifting & health & safety.
Tenderers are to advise the number of panels required, price per panel and whether they would still go ahead if the number of beams they requested are reduced due to availability.
Date of removal from site will be negotiated with each successful tenderer.
The bridge panels have not been assessed for their structural performance capability or existing condition and are sold on an as is where is basis.
