History House Pop-Up Museum has a new exhibition and invites everyone along to learn about Greymouth’s remarkable history.
The new display focuses on:
- The infamous “Barbour” caused by katabatic winds, that can be viewed on cold mornings on the hills behind Cobden and felt as it travels down the Grey River into town.
- Floods that have redesigned parts of Greymouth over the decades
- Ships that have come to grief on the Grey River bar.
Find the museum next to the Regent Theatre on Mackay Street.
Open from 12:30pm to 5pm Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
