Road Closure - State Highway 7

Council would like to inform that Taylorville-Blackball Road heading towards State Highway 7 has been closed due to the slips that occurred as a result of the recent severe weather effect. The GDC Roading maintenance contractor is currently working on getting the road back up and running as soon as possible. Please be posted and bear with us while we all are working together through this weather event.

On another note, SH7 at Stillwater is closed too due to the various slips. Please refer to NZTA websites and Facebook pages for more details, as the council doesn’t maintain State Highways.
