Road Open, one lane, Taylorville Township to the Blackball Turnoff

Update 9:50am 05/05/2022 - Expect delays of 20 minutes between 10:30am to 11:30am. A Helicopter will be the area sluicing the slip aiming to dislodge unstable material. We apologise for any inconvenience to motorists.

Update 4:30pm 03/05/2022 - The road has reopened but is down to one lane with traffic lights in place. Please exercise caution when driving this route and expect delays.

Due to a further slip early this morning the road between Taylorville Township and the Blackball turnoff is closed.

Engineers are currently assessing the situation as it appears the slip is very unstable and further debris is expected to come down.

An alternative route is available via State Highway 7.

The road will be closed for the whole day at this stage.
