Grey District Council (GDC) and The West Coast Regional Council (WCRC) have received a resource consent application from TiGa Minerals and Metals Ltd in relation to a site located at Barrytown Flats, State Highway 6 (Coast Road) for the establishment and operation of a mineral sands mine.
Several types of resource consent are sought. The application includes an assessment of environmental effects. The application was publicly notified on 15th September 2023.
