It's out with the old and in with the new at Gladstone Playground over the next few days.
The sad old play nest is set to be replaced with a flash new timber tower/slide combo.
Big ups to the local community who have worked hard to raise funds for the project, and a huge high-five to Equip Engineering Ltd who are helping remove the old play nest and install the new equipment at no cost.
To keep everyone safe, the playground will be closed while work is done. Once it's all signed off and good to go, the kids will have some brand new equipment for play and exploration.
