Westland Recreation Centre pools to close for regular maintenance

The Westland Recreation Centre pools will be closed from Monday 6 May for their annual clean. They will reopen on Monday 27 May.

The lap pool and combined pool will both be emptied with linings repaired and the beach area lining replaced. The centre’s plant and boiler will also undergo regular servicing and the reception area is being refurbished.

A new coffee shop is being constructed and will open later in the year for take-away coffee and cabinet food.

The fitness centre, stadium and group classes will continue and people heading to the gym or the stadium are asked to use the stadium doors to enter the facility.
