Youthtown, running fun programmes for 5-18 yr olds
Youthtown is a not-for-profit organisation running fun programmes (designed to inspire and promote life skills) and spaces across the country for 5-18 year-olds since 1932,
On the West Coast
MSD accredited programme for children (5-13 year-old) are led by Ashley Mathers Ashley.mathers@youthtown.org.nz 027 548 0972 and are delivered after school and in the school holidays at Grey Main School (WINZ subsidy may be available to attend).
Our Coast Youth programmes are led by Andy Ross
andy.ross@youthtown.org.nz 027 1800 2135. Andy is creating new opportunities for rangitahi in school, after school and in the school holidays. We want to hear from 11-18-year-olds to help us create YT activities or partnered programmes with other organisations. Our activities focus on physical and mental wellbeing and can include the arts, sport and outdoor pursuits (including camps and tramps), in fact almost anything. Many of our youth holiday programmes are free with funding from Breakaway (Oranga Tamariki).
