Unplanned Water Shutdown - High Street Greymouth

There will be a water shutdown on High Street, Greymouth

This will affect the below areas:

• Eastern side of High Street from Westland Recreation Centre to 195 Tainui Street (Holy Trinity Church)

• Heaphy Street from Tainui Street to Shakespeare Steet

• Buccleuch Street from High Street to Shakespeare Street

The western side of High Street should still have water.

Water will be going off shortly for up to 4 hours. This is due to a break outside the Croquet Club.

Once the main is live residents are likely to have aerated water (water will appear milky). Residents should run an outside tap to assist clearing this.

Residents near the above properties may at times have reduced service. Our contractor is working as quickly as possible to reinstate the service.

Council apologises for any inconveniences caused by this water shutdown.
