The groups and projects that were awarded funding were:
Greymouth Anglican Church - The Youth Shed
$500.00 for the Youth Project at the Shed
Te Puawai Cooperative Society Ltd
$750.00 for 2023 Blackball Readers and Writers Festival
Life Education Trust West Coast
$2,700 to contribute to their operational costs
SPCA Greymouth
$2,400 for Snip'n'Chip animal desexing campaign planned for April 2023.
Runanga Community Library
$1,100 To purchase new books for the library and to purchase printer cartridges and paper for our computer printer.
West Coast Cricket Association
$950.00 To maintain Arthur Fong Park.
Arnott Heights Community Group
$1,100 The renewal of the Arnott Heights Community Park.
Runanga Playcentre Playgroup
$1,700 Purchase and installation of 7 clear PVC blinds and accessories on the Runanga playcentre veranda.
Rapahoe Reserves Management
$1,000 For running incidentals that occur to maintain Rapahoe Domain.
Shantytown Heritage Park
$2,000 for Annual Halloween and Junior Monster's Ball Event, goody bag and its contents upon entry for each child & to provide the spot prizes.
MS West Coast
$3,000 Field Officer (Registered Nurse) wages and fuel costs, support groups, and social morning tea's
Presbyterian Support Upper South Island
$1,000 Home Share, the funds would be used to help pay for two events, i.e., two outing and/or dinners for the Home Share clients: one at Christmas and one in Mid-year.
Grey District Youth Trust
$2,000 To continue the Trust’s current programmes
Greymouth Athletic Club
$750.00 To pay for diesel, weed killers, and tractor maintenance.
Grey District/Mawhera Business and Promotions Association Incorporated (BPA)
$4,050 for New Year’s Eve 2022 Fire Works Display.
