Croesus Track Road Now Open

Council is pleased to confirm that road works have been completed and the access road to the Paparoa and Croesus Tracks opened today to all traffic, be that car, bike, foot or horse!

MBD has delivered a timely and robust repair, in two weeks they:

• Removed all the waste slip materials
• Key out to the appropriate foundation for rock placement
• Rocks were placed to the pavement subgrade level for full width of foundation.
• Replaced the damaged culvert with a new 630mm diameter Euroflo culvert pipe.
• Pavement layers has been reinstated to the full width.
• Reinstated the Guardrails supplied by GDC.
