Central Ward By-election Nominations Now Open
A by-election is required to fill an extraordinary vacancy for the Central Ward of the Grey District Council. The vacancy has arisen from the recent resignation of Councillor Patrick McBride.
Nominations for the above position opened on Thursday 24 November 2022 and must be made on the official nomination form.
Copies of the nomination form and a by-election information sheet can be requested from the Grey District Council office, 105 Tainui Street, Greymouth, downloaded from our website here:
or from the electoral officer by emailing elections@greydc.govt.nz
Completed nomination documents must be received by the electoral officer no later than noon on Thursday 22 December 2022. Each nomination must be accompanied by a deposit of $200 incl GST, payable by EFTPOS, cash or online banking (see nomination form for bank a/c details).
