Waitangi Weekend Operational Hours

Monday 6 February 2023 is Waitangi Day and a public holiday.

Opening hours for Council services and facilities on Monday 6 February 2023

Council offices: Closed

Greymouth Library: Closed

History House Pop Up Museum: Closed

Westland Recreation Centre: Open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Greymouth Port: A port staff member will be on call for urgent enquiries over the weekend and Monday 6 February, please call 03 768 5666 if you require support.

Rubbish and Collection Changes:

McLean’s Pit Landfill & Recycling Centre: Will be closed on Monday 6 February 2023.

Moana, Nelson Creek & Blackball Resource Centres: Will beclosed on Monday 6 February 2023.

Refuse & Recycling Collections: Will be collected as per normal.

Refuse and recycling bins need to be out by 7:00am to ensure that they are going to be collected.
