Councillor Peter Davy was sworn in at the Grey District Council meeting on Thursday 23 February and received a formal welcome from Council staff and elected members.
Peter will represent the Central Ward alongside Councillors Jack O'Connor and Timothy Mora. His areas of interest will be the Operations and Capital Programme Delivery Committee and Finance, Regulatory and Business Committee.
Peter is looking forward to this new
challenge and giving back to the community. "The Grey District faces many challenges and I'm grateful to be part of this Council, and to be in a position to help guide us through what could be a difficult period. I will do all I can to
help make the Grey District the best it can be" he said.
