Work is underway on the bridge replacement. Contractors have established the site and have constructed the crane pad ready for the lifting of the old structure out and to prepare for the driving of new piles.
The road is currently closed and there will be no access to the beach or walkway from Seven Mile, Rapahoe until the completion of the build expected to be toward the end of July 2023.
Access to the Point Elizabeth Walkway is still available from North Beach Road, Cobden.
