​Blackball Water Supply Update

• Following recent fine weather, Council has been able to keep the untreated water storage bladders at a reasonably high level. The bladders levels are currently at 90%.

• Treatment Plant operations are as per normal and water quality is within the requirements of the Drinking Water regulations.

• Updated information from our intake gallery pipework supplier, confirms the pipework is expected to arrive to town mid-late next week.

• Planning is continuing for the installation of the replacement intake gallery.

• The weather forecast is being closely monitored for this work, with weather conditions over the coming several weeks looking unsettled. A temporary diversion of Blackball Creek is required to do the work and it is important we choose a fine weather window as flows need to remain low, for a safe and efficient installation.
