BOIL WATER NOTICE – GREATER GREYMOUTH WATER SUPPLY
Effective from 10am, Wednesday 9 April 2025 – Until Further Notice
Affected: Greymouth, Cobden, Blaketown, Boddytown, Karoro, South Beach, Paroa, Kaiata, Dobson, Taylorville, Stillwater, Runanga, Dunollie, Coal Creek & Rapahoe.

Renewal of the Greymouth CBD area was rated by the community as the highest priority project arising from the Community Economic Development Strategy and in 2015 Council approved the Greymouth CBD Renewal Urban Design Framework, which showcases the plans for the Greymouth town centre that have arisen from the ideas and input from the community.
These were the developed designs for the Town Square and Tainui Shared Street. See further down the page for the completed images.
The work on the Tainui Shared Street and Town Square is now complete, see below for some images of the space being utilised by the community.
