With thanks to the Provincial Growth Fund (PGF Fund), Greymouth's Cenotaph located along Tainui Street in Greymouth received an upgrade.
Local contractor BD Solutions has completed the kerb and surface renewal which looks great. Pete De Bruke from Coast Electrics kindly donated his time to install ducting, this will allow for speakers inside the area and will benefit all ceremonies held at the Cenotaph.
This upgrade has given Greymouth's cenotaph the refresh it needed to continue to be a central site of remembrance for those who wish to pay their respects.
