Road Closures

UPCOMING ROAD CLOSURES

Pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the Grey District Council, for the purpose of The New Years Eve Party, will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder:

Streets, dates, and times to be closed:

Shared Tainui Street (Town Square) closed, and from 46 Mawhera Quay to 1 Tainui Street (Art Gallery). From 10am Tuesday 31 December 2024 to 6am Wednesday 1 January 2025.

PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROAD TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

Pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the Grey District Council, for the purposes of the Waitangi Day Community Picnic, proposes to close the following streets to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated here under:

Streets to be closed

Brunner Street, Cowper Street from Franklin Street to Turumaha Street from Brunner Street to ANZAC Park

Date of Closure

Thursday 6 February 2025

Time of Closure

8am until 4pm

Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice of his/her objection and grounds thereof in writing before Friday 10 January 2025 at the office of the Grey District Council, 105 Tainui Street (PO Box 382) Greymouth.
