UPCOMING ROAD CLOSURES

Pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the Grey District Council, for the purpose of Waitangi Day Community Picnic, will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder:

Streets to be closed

Brunner Street, Cowper Street from Franklin Street to Turumaha Street from Brunner Street to ANZAC Park

Thursday 6 February 2025

Time of Closure

8am until 4pm

PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROAD TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

Pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the Grey District Council, for the purposes of two Friday Night Street Eats events, proposes to close the following streets to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated here under:

Shared Tainui Street (Town Square)

Date of Closure

  • Friday 14 February 2025
  • Friday 14 March 2025

Time of Closure

4pm to 8pm

Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice of his/her objection and grounds thereof in writing before Wednesday 05 February 2025 at the office of the Grey District Council, 105 Tainui Street (PO Box 382) Greymouth.
