Grey District Lifelines Plan - Alpine Fault Earthquake Scenario & Lifelines Vulnerability Assessment

This report aims to raise awareness of the issues and to make recommendations as to what should be done to make the Grey District Council better able to withstand the effects of a major earthquake disaster and to recover from it more effectively.

The primary focus of the report is on lifelines - ie the network services of water, sewage, transport, power and communications which are essential to the functioning of a community - and also makes more general comments and recommendations on such matters as communication and leadership.
